PeakCarve offers four free document conversion tools, all available at peakcarve.com:

• HTML to Word Converter — Convert HTML files to Word .docx documents. SVG graphics and Mermaid diagrams are pre-rendered and embedded as images so they display correctly in Microsoft Word and Google Docs. Includes auto-generated Table of Contents, optional page numbers, and support for Letter and A4 page sizes. Also extracts and renders diagrams as PNG images or source files.
• Word to HTML Converter — Convert Word .docx files to clean, self-contained HTML. All embedded images are encoded as base64 data URIs so the output is a single, portable .html file. Preserves headings, tables, font colours, bold/italic, lists, and hyperlinks.
• HTML to PDF Converter — Convert HTML files to PDF using headless Chromium — the same engine as Google Chrome. CSS styles, backgrounds, custom fonts, and JavaScript-rendered content (Mermaid charts, D3.js graphs) are all captured exactly as they appear in a browser. Supports Letter and A4 page sizes.
• Word to PDF Converter — Convert Word .docx files to PDF using LibreOffice headless for native Word rendering. Headers, footers, page breaks, footnotes, tables, images, and all Word formatting are preserved with full fidelity. No Microsoft Office installation required.

The Problem We Solve

Converting documents between formats is surprisingly hard to get right. Opening an HTML file in Microsoft Word garbles SVG diagrams. Exporting a Word document to HTML often produces a mess of inline styles and a folder full of image files. Converting to PDF using the browser print dialog strips headers and footers. Every tool either requires an expensive subscription, a software installation, or destroys the formatting you worked hard to create.

PeakCarve tools solve each of these problems directly — using the right engine for each job: headless Chromium for pixel-perfect HTML-to-PDF, LibreOffice for native Word-to-PDF fidelity, and a custom python-docx pipeline for clean HTML-to-Word conversion with diagrams intact.
